Production Diary
Wednesday the 27th
Today we prepped the studio and I used the camera to find the most optimal settings. I used the aperture to make sure it was all in focus and had the right lighting and settings for filming in the studio . On the set we used hard and soft lighting to set up the cameras so on the day nothing would conflict with the spacing and look good. We did this to create a floor plan with the lighting techs so we would have a plan of what would happen on the day. How to set it up correctly. Then we got the set designers to make sure the set was correct and at a good distance from the cameras
Thursday the 28th
Today we started the shot list which included, the description shot order and sound accompanying. We progressed quite far as the list was now half finished, the shots just need more descriptions but overall there has been a high standard of work. Now I am updating preproduction to make sure the entirety of it is complete and is to a high standard and to shows how much work I have put into this product.
Friday the 1st
Today we finished the shot list it is to a high standard and has a decisive wording and a good inclusive shot description the final product is to a high standard of work this was achieved by us because we thoroughly checked our work and went over it with 2 different people.
Monday the 4th
We shot the reel list although there was a setback. We have all the stuff we need to use even though some of the audio went missing. We have what we can replace it and use our time to finish the work in time for the final product.
Wednesday the 6th
We shot the rehearsal for the main show we had a few problems with scripts. My camera ran out of battery right before filming but overall it was a success with the floor plan done and the shot list finished we have no paperwork and preproduction is officially over
Thursday the 7th
Today I updated my blogs to include all of the other tasks I have helped or completed on the side. Today i went over all the previous work and added context to the previous work making sure it was all finished. I also helped in planning the set for Friday
Friday
We filmed the main show and with Callie and Redmond. I was the main camera operator and supposed to do camera 5 as well but, Katy wasn’t filming, so we used her instead this meant one of the cameras were unattended but it wasn’t used much after that so it would be fine
Monday
We started editing, we used a multi-camera format on premier pro. This was a challenge since we had too use the same folder for all our assets, when it was already struggling to play the multi-cam. We have finished a fair amount of the work there is only a small amount that is currently a problem but it will soon be finished
Wednesday
I have, for all intensive purposes, finished editing there is only exporting to finish and after that i only have to put it on YouTube, copy the link, put it on a word document, the blog and finally put the word document in my drive. I will then not have to any more work on the clips
Friday
Everything is finished, I make a mistake with the file format but it didn’t take long to correct although i took a while to realise.

Social media
Marketing
The action or business of promoting and selling products or services including marketing research and advertising.
- Billboards
- TV advert
- Social media campaign
- Posters
- Media appearances
- Partnerships
- Competitions
- Interviews
Different products are marketed differently according to audience budget technology and location. Audience needs to be appealed to using marketing tactics Budget needs to be stuck to so you don’t lose money. Guerrilla marketing using unexpected marketing tactics to change the audiences mind
Social media is an efficient form of marketing because the target audience markets to themselves by tags and reposteing and it is also free and interactive. Zoo-lander 2 had a good social media marketing campaign making appearances on reddit facebook vine and Instagram
Multicamera magazine show
the show uses several techniques like long, establishing, close ups, and medium shots with four different cameras, using a mix of diegetic and nondiegetic sound, with a light-hearted atmosphere showing the crowd. Using coloured lights the whole show uses neutral colours. It only uses non diegetic sound in the background and during clips the show represented and showed the history of female oppression. It standed foe the empowerment and liberation of female wrestlers in Europe the entire show used lapels as a separate track, so it was a voice over. The show was light hearted and has a positive atmosphere and used simple language it uses a score at the start as an into in to the show they also used handheld mics as well as boom mics. The program had various different themes and topics that the presenters covered this was accompanied by a change of scenery. The show uses close ups and pans during the shots of the band across from each band member to the singer. It mostly used high key lighting but low key during certain segments.
Evaluation
The final product is done and I am not as satisfied as I would like time constraint but also the filming could have been better because of the expressions of the actors and the stabilising of the camera. I did the best with the provided footage my best was not as good as if I had wanted. The final product was good but not as good as possible I needed a little more time the and more footage and a better quality script as well as stabilizing. I could have helped during preproduction to make the script more intricate or interesting but the group needs to be.
The script was a major failure in future I intend to spend a lot of time tweaking the script to help the others and improve the quality of work. The final product the final product is better than I would have thought because of the provided material. I made the best possible product with my involvement in retrospect I spent the appropriate time editing but I should have either acted or tried to change, the script as that would have made it better the end product was at a standard. I would have liked but I have made a suitable product of satisfactory quality. The final product met all the standards set and followed the script and shot list. The pre-production could have been done more thoroughly and fully.
Overall the final product was not up to my standards but it was satisfactory as it met all the nessisairy requirements.
Protect diary P2 1
Monday
On the first day we finished pre-production. The sound list and my offsite form Jackson did the storyboard. Among other things whilst we brainstormed to create the script we finished preproduction entirely so we could do as much as possible.
project diary 3
I started assembling the clips to form the final product this is the final day of production and I have to finish off the film.
I have finished the film and overall I am satisfied with the filming but I could have spent more time editing as I feel like I could have done better if I was given enough time to properly edit without a time constraint as I could have thought of a solution to some of the problems that came up during filming. but I have effectively eliminated each problem effectively and within the defined time frame.
I was able to make a final product at a more than satisfactory standard because I planned and properly gave notice to the time and projects that needed attention and others that had a deadline
