Monday 29th of April

Today i started the project proposal and successfully started planning the script and narrative of our final magor project. I have had the idea to have a more depressing drama rather than anything light hearted or comedic project

Wednesday 1st may

I finished the mood board, mind map and the project proposal so we can move on to developing the story i will need to keep in mind that i don’t have the only idea any some others may be more piratical cinematic ore thought through.

Thursday 2nd may

We have started pre-production and it is my job to do the risk assessment i will need the location recce to do my job properly and effectively assess the dangers in the area. i will have to identify several risks and attempt to resolve them as soon as possible.

Friday 3rd may

I have finished the risk assessment to a satisfactory standard so i can start on another piece of work. the risk assessment contains a variety of dangers who is responsible for them and how they can acknowledge and fix thew along with the deadlines needed to completed by.

Monday 6th may

I have started to compile my work in to a in-design document in order for it to be easy to send and receive this will be stylised and changed to make it easy to read and efficient to store so that i can submit my work quickly and effectively

Wednesday 8th may

I am also starting the prop list and the costume list i am prioritise the costume list because it is more important and longer. it also requires a deeper amount o thoght as the exact outfits are not specified in the script or story board and i will have to make sure the actors can source the right clothes

thursday 9th may

I have finished the costume list and have almost finished the prop list this means we are nearing the end of preproduction and will have to make perpetrations for filming like booking equipment and casting actors.

Friday 10th may

I have finished the prop list and am taking this time to edit my pre-production folder using in-design to make it look nice the folder needs to be organised and personalised if i am to get a good grade

Monday 13th may

I have started the shot-list this means i will need the storyboard or the script to effectively keep the same consistency throughout pre-production.

Wednesday 15th may

I have finished the shot list maintaining the same amount of shots and scenes to the storyboard making it easier to comprehend and follow into production.

Thursday 16th may

I am using this time to make the after effects that i am going to use in the actual production i need to use prior knowledge to know what settings to have the composition

Friday 17th may

We filmed the first part to our fmp this means we went out and filmed the fist flashback and the initial opening credits. we did this productively by managing time and assessing locations as well as shots so they were focused and accurate

Monday 20th may

I began editing the project compiling the clips from Friday with the effects i have made and will use during production and will be in the final product. I also spell and grammar checked the production blogs so I could covey my points clearly and understandably.

Wednesday 22nd may

We have began filming the office scenes with Greg finalising the poster and compiling the video files to add the next part to the video sequence.

Thursday 23rd may

We started filming more of the scenes and re doing some that were a bit out of focus this is because we want a higher grade of product and use our time most efficiently. We will do this more efficiently than last time as we spent too long on breaks and time spent in-between actual shots

Friday 24th may

Today I am creating the assets in after effects and the footage we collected yesterday I am using premier pro and after effects in conjunction so I can edit the assets in after effects and it will change the premier pro document

Thursday 30th may

Today we filmed all the remaining visual scenes. we only need the Foley, music and the final dialogue the rest we will do in after effects. this was a success although because we got all videos filmed in time.

Monday 3rd June

I assembled the last of the visual files all I need to do is finish editing with the Foley, music and the after effects. I have began to finalise my work. I am on time to finish my work and have effectively used all my assets to my advantage.

Wednesday 5th June

I have finished with the Foley and music I only have to finish the final dialogue and all parts will be done. i have effectively found and used appropriate music. I have also updated the production blogs to have proper grammar.

Thursday 6th June

I have gotten close to finalising. I have finished the Foley and ADR and I would like to make some small edits to finish the film like small bits of colour correction and fixing the volume fore some of the music and effects.

Friday 7th June

I have finished the film all aspects meet my expectations and are up to a high standard. we have completed all aspects and are ready for the presentation on Monday this will be the final blog as production is now over.
